Tiki Beach
We went for another long drive today. On the way, we stopped and looked at the ancient Tiki beach.

Long hike
We went for a drive and saw a cliff. So, we hiked the three miles down the steep mountain side to get to the beach. Breathtaking view. I got tons of great shots that I’ll post when we get back. Right now we are headed to celebrate Cinco De Mayo by eating at a Mexican Restauraunt. We saw tons of rock stack towers that people made on the beach. I found some pretty shells. Then we got soaked in a rain. Hiked around some more and then back up the mountain side. Here is a shot I got with my phone at the start of the hike.
Tour of Kona
We drove the coast around Kona with Hilo airport in the middle for our helicopter tour. We saw turtles, crabs, black sand beaches, geckos, and all sorts of other things. On the helicopter tour, we saw lots of steaming lava and waterfalls. We got a video of our tour that I’ll be posting after this.

Day Out Kayaking
We drove around this morning until we got to a bay. Some guy rented us a couple kayaks and we rowed out to a monument. There we swam around a bit, saw tons of fish and dolphins, then paddled back. We went to a great sandwich shop and then off to a beach with sand to look for seashells, crabs, and such. Very sunny and relaxing.
